The veil wasn’t a primary piece for me that day, I had a $20 veil… but I ended up being really glad I had it and loved how it ended up looking in our pictures.

Veils are great props. I highly recommend them. I took many pics without a veil but took tons with it.

I used my moms veil from the 80s 🙂 it had to be repurposed a little bit as originally hers was a headband to go across the forehead with some weird floral arrangement! It was also pure white (hello, 80s) so it didn’t exactly match my ivory dress but I was happy to havebeen able to include something that was so special to her

Mine was a cathedral length veil with a lace trim and pearl detailing. I wore it down the aisle, my dad lifted it, and I kept it on for half the formal photos. Loved my veil! I felt so pretty and bridal!

I also never thought I’d wear one, but I ended up loving it soo much. It’s like the bridal look isn’t complete without it.
