Love your set! My parents have matching plain bands, and my DH has a plain band. But I inherited my great-grandmother’s band with diamonds set in it!

I love this thread!  All the sparkly wedding bands kind of make me feel silly/ashamed/like-something-is-wrong-with-me for wanting a plain band.  

Here’s my e-ring.  I’m hoping the find a squarish band, like the shape of the band of my e-ring.  

 

 

Did you ladies have a hard time finding plain bands or are they at most jewlry stores (just not in their ads)? We are going shopping for bands on Monday!!!!

So nice to see these pics ladies! People often look at me funny when I tell them I’m going for a plain band. But i just love the simple elegant look of a solitare and a simple weding band. Mine is being made up by the same place that made my engagement ring. I found mst shops didn’t have simple bands in stock, just lots of sparkly ones.

Here is mine. As someone else mentioned, plain bands are pretty common in the UK. Mine belonged to my Grandma who died when I was little. I love the history of the ring, and its unusual shape.

Lol, I have both… a Matching Set of WBands… one Sparkly & one Plain.

They came from Peoples here in Canada (Zales in the USA), and I LOVE em.

It is great having multiple rings, so many options, 1 – 2 – 3 altogher or mix & match, stack em how the mood suits me.

And a Plain WBand means I NEVER have to go without a ring no matter what I am doing (when my Diamonds might be in jeopardy)

I don’t wear my Glitter when I am Home Renovating – Painting – Gardening – Deep Cleaning – Cooking & Baking (where I “knead” to get my hands right in there) – Working Out – or Water Sports (such as Scuba / Snorkelling)… and I don’t wear em when I am travelling or visiting sketchy places… like on vacation when we go off to exotic places (2nd or 3rd world countries)… in which case I lock them up in the Hotel Room / Ship Cabin Safe, or just leave em at home here in our Bank’s Safety Deposit Box.  No worries.

LOVE having a Plain WBand.  Really LOVE have 2 WBands.  Best Ring decision EVER !!

I don’t like bling. My husband and I have matching hammered gold bands, we’re sentimental about wearing the ‘same’ ring. We ordered them from an etsy seller because I knew I wouldn’t find what I wanted in a store.

Also I love it when the wedding band is wider than the band of the e-ring, as so many ladies have here! I think it allows the wedding band to stand out and emphasizes its importance.
