Yours is beautiful!  Here’s mine! I think it’s from the Platinum Collection, but I’m not positive.

Thank you!!! Yours too!  Are you going to wear the straps, or no?  They are beautiful!

Did you ladies hear that POB is closing?  I called them frantically last night!  Since my dress was a sample, I wanted to have it cleaned.  They told me where to send it, and recommended a place for alterations.  Sigh….so sad!

@missdane: you look gorgeous!  love your dress!

@blissfulmrs: i actually really like the straps!  they’re so glam looking!

I’ll be wearing “Claire” from the Vineyard Collection, and I ordered it just two weeks before they announced they were closing. Sad!

I went in prepared to pick my favorite and order a knockoff from China, but my mom and Future Mother-In-Law went crazy over this dress and insisted that if I wanted it, they would pay for it. It’s not the greatest photo in the world, but I tried it on twice and felt absolutely fabulous every minute I had it on.

This is the gown that I purchased. (It’s obviously not me in the picture). I bought it over the phone from my home Priscilla of Boston in Dallas because I’m currently out of state for graduate school. It was a good thing too; because they shipped it to me for free and didn’t charge me sales tax! The original resale price was $1,475. I bought it for $637.50 at about 57%off! I’m so proud! I wanted to wait longer to see if I could get an even better deal but decided not to push it past the second week of October. First I called and it was 50% off; then later another 10% was taken off (of the 50% not the original price). After all it was the week before all of the sales associates would be let go. So I jumped on it. It’s ivory, not white like in the picture and it was a sample thats in pretty good condition. This was one out of two, of my hands down 100% favorite wedding gowns and top pick for my own wedding.
