I will be wearing two drastically different pairs of shoes.. for my reception I will be wearing a pair of rhinestoned light pink heels with a ribbon tie up for the ceremony (shown in second image). For the reception I am going to be wearing a pair of pink floral embroidered cowboy boots from old gringo (first image).

I’m wearing these for pictures, ceremony and cocktail hour:

And then I am changing before our intro/first dance into ballroom shoes. There is no way I can dance in the Badgley Mischka’s!

I got a cheap pair from Light in the Box. I just started rehearsing in them, so I don’t know how they will hold up. I can tell you that the straps were very confusing, and I had to take them to my shoe guy to figure them out.

Mine are red, not this weird brown color.

@PrincessBride27:  Those are my wedding shoes! Love these Badgley Mischka beauties! They retail for $225, but I found mine on eBay in my exact size for $70! I have worn them around the house and although they are comfortable for the height, I’m not sure I’ll be able to wear them ALL day. Looking for something a little more comfortable I can change into after our first dance.

Mine are J. Renee Queenie in colbolt blue.  I decided to use shoes as my something blue when I saw them.  The were originally $99, I got them for like $32 with tax at Dillard’s…70% off.  I am also debating on having backups but they are not too high so I might be able to manage.  These are about 4inches and I think I will end up still needing my gown hemmed 🙁 However I I cannot wear a higher inched heel for a long period of time. And may end up changing b/c of winter wedding.
