We have an engraved ring block from Urban Collective (http://www.etsy.com/shop/UrbanCollective) – you can choose the ribbon colour, typeface, etc. It looks something like this:

I made it myself.  It wasn’t 100% done yet when I took this pic (I added personalized ribbon of our names and weddinf date).  It’s not ‘perfect’ but I love it and will keep it ‘forever’.  Plus it means so much more because I made it πŸ™‚

We are very religious & buying a large family sized bible for my ring bearer to carry down the aisle (my sis has the same bible as we will be getting so I have already had my nephew try carrying it to make sure he could).  I am trying to make it so that once he carries it down the aisle, the bible is moved to the ambo where the lectors will actually read our readings out of it. (A bit complicated, but it would mean SO much to us!) Not sure if we will get the bible in white (since it’s for the wedding) or maroon (as shown here, more traditional, plus we are Aggies & love the color maroon).

I didnt order it yet, but I love this idea ($39.00)

ETA: I actually thought this opened until I posted it and saw it was just a block. I still like it, although not as much! LOL  I thought it would be nice to keep something that can be used afterwards as a keepsake. Like a little wooden jewelery box.

Made my own book ring holder. I’m going to put in our ceremony, readings and vows as well. I like that there will be something I can just pull out and flip through Smile
