Mine is a total of 1.4 carats for the ering… the center stone being .9carats.  vvs1, g, excellent cut.  He bought it from a tiny local jewelers who gave us a fantastic deal which we didnt even realize until after he had purchased it.  The diamond alone retails online from wholesalers for the price of the ring.  He spent 5800 a little over 6 with tax.  I could never ask for anything more after looking at hundreds of rings and only liking 4 or 5.  he spent a little more than he wanted but i got the ring of my dreams.  I just cant wait till we get married and get my band to go with.

sorry its so big i can’t figure out how to shrink it.

Sorry for the huge picture….The center stone is .72 carats and the setting is .40 carats making the whole ring 1.12 carats. The band that matches is .25 carats. He got it custom make from a local jewler. He spent about 10 grand till all was said and done. Well worth it =)

All these rings are gorgeous!! My ring has a center stone that is 1.25 carats with .25 total baugettes on the side (all diamonds!). I think my fiance paid $6,500 (we live in NYC — yay diamond district!). It’s super sparkly, and I love it so much! Can’t wait to get married!!

Mine isn’t my “real” ring, but I love it just as much!

It’s a 1.05 carat oval aquamarine in a flower halo with Round Brilliant diamond chips on the halo and princess cut diamond chips on the band for a TCW of 1.15. It’s a size 4.5 and cost about $500 (but I found a sale so it was only $325! Go me!). He let me pick it out because I’m possibly the pickiest person on Earth.

Mine is a 1.05 carat diamond round cut, I coloration, and VS1-2 in clarity.  It is a simple white gold band because I always told my fiance that I wanted the center stone to “pop” and we looked at a bunch of bands with surrounding stones and the center stone just looked small…so he went with a clean and classic solitare and I LOVE IT!

He paid $4,800 for the ring, but the jeweler is a friend of the family so it is worth $7,000.

There was also a great deal going on at the store and we got his tungstun ring for free along with a discount coupon for the wedding band, and free tux rental for the wedding.
