@bunnyharriet:  Exactly!  Not to mention I know that I am not wearing something that wasn’t humanly mined.  I could get on a soap box about it, but I don’t want some 12 year old African boy dieing so that I can have something pretty on my finger.  … I love Moissianite and Asha for SO many reasons!

My e-ring is 18k white gold with platinum prongs and has a 1.21 ct round diamond G, VVS2, ideal with .37 ct on the band.  My w-bands are both 18k yellow gold and are .50 ct each.  Engagement Ring was around $10,500 and w-bands were $1500 each.

My RHR is 14k white gold with diamonds totally 1ctw and I got it for $1000.

I married him without a ring, and then got this plastic-y gold-painted beauty for a whole $.25 from the toy machine things in the grocery store entrance on our way to our wedding celebration dinner. lol We have been planning (and still are) a July 6 wedding, but decided to go to the courthouse 9/17. Eventually, I will get a blue sapphire when I find something I like. For now, my thumb ring is perfect and makes me smile when I see it.

@aleeblueeyes:   I love it!  Just goes to show that you don’t need to spend a lot of money to get something of value.

mine is a .53ct cushion cut, I color, VVS2, set in 14k white gold. Got it for $995 AUD.

but it was from blue nile. If we had got it locally, it would have cost much more!

My center stone is .74 carats. “I” color, VS1, excellent cut. The whole set is about 1.5 carats. The set was about 4k.
