I’ll keep this going. It’s a good reference for future brides and grooms!

My e ering is a 2 ct  vs diamond and white gold setting and the center stone is 1.5 ct OEC moissy

wedding band is a 1ct vs pink diamond rose gold band

so 3 ct tw diamond and 1.5 ctw moissy

total price $4000

Appraises for double that so I’m happy with what we paid 🙂

Mine is a 1.86 ct round brilliant solitaire set in platinum. G color, SI2 clarity, Excellent cut, XXX. We spent right at $12,000 for it. I’m getting two wedding bands – 11 stones/ 0.55 tcw each – 2.4 mm wide, G color, VS clarity, shared prong in platinum for $2,800 total. Whole set just under $15,000

I don’t know all the specs but my center diamond is a .92ct and there are .26ct in the setting. Cost of the ring was right around $5000. It’s literally everything I’ve ever wanted.

I’m joining in! Center stone is 0.71ct (0.36ct side stones) G color, Fiance clarity and XXX set in 18k rose gold for about $3,700 and appraised for $5,700 if that counts. Love looking at all these rings!

mrssloan2013:  we have the same finger size! Lol. I’m 3.5 as well and it’s actually pretty loose when I’m cold, but just right witha little bit of space to let my finger breathe when I’m feeling hot, I also have big knuckles.

Mrs.DK:  mine was loose also but when I got my rings soldered together it helped alot. They don’t spin anymore and fit perfectly! Do you like having tiny fingers?..I have mixed feelings about it..its nice because diamonds/stones appear larger but I dont like how I have to have my rings made in my size which takes forever..It would be nice to have a size 5-6 finger so that way you could buy a ring and take it home that day.

Mrs.DK:  I love your ring by the way! ..the rose gold is beautiful. I really like the emerald cut diamond with the halo. I saw your post with the picture of the setting kay jewelers made and yeah the ssetting you have now is 1000x prettier!

mrssloan2013:  yes I do enjoy having tiny fingers lol… sometimes people kinda make fun but I don’t care, I’m also used to getting my rings customize in size or waiting anyway, so I guess it doesn’t really bother me that much!

the halo wasn’t my first choice actually, I liked this Megan thorne bezeled setting, luckily my husband didn’t like it, because when I saw this bezel design I just fell in love! Lol. Love your ring too! My mom is totally in love with princes cuts! Thinking of gifting her a princess cut ring someday!

I’ll play! .54carat center stone, G/H color, SI1, and the diamonds in the halo and setting round me out to 1ct total weight. $2,750 (I am really the worst at getting good pics of it though!)

Wow we get ripped off in Australia. I always knew but this thread has made me realise just how much!

Mines .75 F VS1, excellent cut centre stone, not sure of the tcw or price paid. Know what it is appraised for though, about 13k. Wedding band has channel set diamond half way around in the same specs (smaller obviously) to match the engagement ring band. That was just under $1000 which I know because we got it made to match.

.59 ct, round brilliant very good cut, vs1, H color. 14k yellow gold in size 8.5

Don’t know the exact amount paid but I know Fiance got a screaming good deal and I think he paid about $1500. A similar ring on Blue Nile goes for about $2600 and it appraised for $4500

I have a D/IF 1.01 princess cut diamond that cost just over $10,000. I have it set in a plain platinum band. My fiancé wanted it to be perfect but I think this is close enough! He was able to find it on James Allen website because he was not able to find anything with those specs in the chain stores where we live.
