Hi ladies….this is my first post as we just got engaged Thursday 8/16! My ring is a 1.62 center cushion with a halo and half eternity platinum and diamond setting. I have no idea what Fiance paid for it or the total carats (I’m guessing 2+)…..but I’m so so in love with what he chose!!

Mine is a 1.67 ct. trillion tanzanite. The setting is my own custom design. It is set in white gold, and I’m not sure the tw of diamonds. Stone cost about 1,100 and the setting was about 2,200. So, 3,300 all together. I absolutely love it!

I have a 3 ctw engagement ring. The color is F, size 10 fingers, and right Around 2cts and the setting is 1ctw. Those stones were upgraded to match my center stone. His total was well over the 30k mark but I don’t know exact figures.

Mine is a 3/4ct (6mm) Moissanite, and it was $465. It’s exactly what I wanted, so the lower price of Moissanite was just a bonus. It’s so beautiful and sparkly and I love it.

Mine isn’t your typical engagement ring. I wanted something unique and special but with a budget. This is actually one of Wexford Jewelry’s standard pieces but I made modifications to make it more unique to me. I didn’t ask for specifics of my center stone since I assume it’s the same as their standard piece.

    Cost: Under $300 shipped
Metal: Black Rhodium plated over Sterling Silver
Center Stone: Repurposed 0.06 CT Diamond (Approx. 2.5mm) – F Color – VS Clarity
Side Stones: Two (approx 1.8mm) Garnets (my birthstone)

These are two of the better pictures I took with my phone camera. You can see the details better in the first one. The second one gives you a better idea of the metal color. Neither picture does the ring any real justice. It’s really very sparkly with the contrast of the diamond against the darker metal 😀

I know a lot of people will be like O_o because it’s non-traditional but I love it.

Just for kicks, these were two rings we were thinking about that were more traditional in term of what people expect for an engagement ring, but weren’t for me. They just didn’t feel special. The left one was about $880, I think it was about 0.45-0.55 CT, VVS, and probably G or H. The one on the right was about $400 but the center diamond was slightly smaller probably around 0.25 CT and a little yellow so it was probably a K or L.
