Neels Jordaan :  I like the first ring much more than the second.

Just took a new picture of my ring. 1.01ct Cusion cut, I color, VVS2 clarity.  Setting is 0.45ct.  The pitcure was taken in indirect sunlight (under a tree) so you see a lot of warmth in the diamond.  Plus, fancy shapes show more color than rounds.

This is what my ring looks like most of the time.

Eww!  Sorry for the wrinkly gross hand!  The soap at the hospital where I work ruins my skin. frown

My e-ring is from Blue Nile and is a 2.01 carat round brilliant set in a platinum petite Nouveau 6 prong solitaire setting.  The wedding band is a 1 carat platinum Riveria eternity band (also Blue Nile).  My ring size is a 5.75 but both rings are a 6 for swelling.
