I have seen so many of you with beautiful nails and manicures showing off your lovely rings, but i fancy seeing them all IRL minus the polish!
I cannot paint my own nails to save my life and the one time i had a manicure i ruined it within an hour, so i never bothered again!
Then gel manicures came out with the promise of no chipping and long-lasting colour… i spent 3 weeks picking it off my nails because no one could remove it and it ruined my nails for months afterwards! Never again!
I ususally never have any white nail (i cut mine right down every week because of eczema) but right now i have nice nails which is unheard of for me!

Show me yours!

Finally! Girls with short nails and no manicure, just like me π
Love the rings! Don’t need a fancy manicure to help show off those beauties!

Stumpy, polishless but with a slight stain from the previous polish and topped with a boo boo on middle finger. Nailed it for this thread!

poppyrabbit: What is the band next to your engagement ring? Is it a new wedding band contender? Looks good!

You ladies are very lucky to have such beautiful natural nails. I keep mine polished the majority of the time because of the damage from years of gel manis. I would love to have nice looking nails without any polish. Do you ladies have any tips for me on how you keep yours looking so nice?

I love seeing other people’s lovely manis, but for me, natural nails are the norm and what feels the most “me” (although I do treat myself to a Shellac mani 3 or 4 times a year).
I usually like them a bit shorter than this, but sometimes I get too lazy and fall a bit behind in trimming them.

Mine could use some TLC! Usually when I go for a manicure, it’s more for my cuticles than my nails…they get pretty rough.

I just finished picking all my nail polish off. Anyone else do that and actually enjoy it as well?

I hardly ever have a manicure becaues nail salons skeeve me out!! I intend to paint my own nails and then never find the time. BTW, at familly beach house and my Dad and brothers CANNOT believe that I took a picture of my ring and that anyone else cares about eRings. Men are from mars…

Ugh, look at my thumbnail. I always break my thumbnails really low – painfully low so then I end up waiting for them to grow out while they look like a disater.

I love them all!
My nails are ruined from being cut so short my entire life, they are really brittle and crack/snap/bend very easily. Im amazed i have managed to keep them this long for a few weeks now!
My hands and wrists are also usually covered i eczema and weeping cracks so i fit this thread perfectly all the time!
fancykitty – (don’t know how to tag you?) – Not a wedding ring contender as it’s my half eternity for my late Grandad. Got it when i was 16 and had it on ever since, white gold with tiny diamonds in it. Gonna have to wear it on another finger in the wedding pictures though so our rings are the main focus π
