tbenjamin4884 :  pink sapphire! Thank you, I’m so in love. My husband designed it with our jeweler. It’s nothing like what I expected but more than I could have ever dreamed of 🙂

diamonddaisy :  Really gorgeous ring. I would rather have your 2ct daisy than a 2ct solitaire. I am not an envious kind of person but……

redearthlady :  I am theoretically on love with a round brilliant scalloped shared prong low set 2.5-3 tcw eternity band. I say theoretically because I’ve never tried it on. They are almost unavailable in Germany. I tried some on at Tiffany’s and Harry Winston and Cartier but it wasn’t what i wanted and they all where way to big (size wise) to really see how they look with the Ering. I want some major bling to the band but I don’t want it to take from the ering. I also thought about a princess cut channel set but I have really no idea how that would look like…  I’d love to brows stores and try loads of things on but so far I’ve only seen two jewelry stores in Omaha…

MiaSuperstar :  I think channel set is a great idea because it would minimize damage to your ering setting and still give you bling. A shared prong style will look great as well but may cause rubbing to the prongs and setting and to prevent that you may need a spacer band. With your solitaire I can’ imagine anything looking bad with it.

tbenjamin4884 :  it’s not finished yet.  We bought the stone on Saturday and the jeweler is putting together the CAD.  I posted a pic in another thread of what it will sort of look like!  It’s the stone just set into a cathedral setting.  I’m having the band made thinner, claw prongs and possibly some little surprise rubies or diamonds in the setting.
