joongielove :  Your pictures and rings are gorgeous! I think your ring would look really lovely paired with a thin pave’ or plain band. Take your time and pic what’s perfect for you!

tbenjamin4884 :  I hope you’re ready for a long response, haha!!
You just put such a smile on my face with your kindness. To be honest, this is actually my 2nd round on the bee. My first time around was not a good one but I wanted to share my experiences with others on here because it helped me when i was looking. Like you, I don’t get people who are insulting to others, especially when talking about something as subjective as taste. I say as long as it makes you feel good (whatever the “it” may be) embrace it, go with it and own it!
I have no wedding band yet. We have not set a date. He is traditional, I am not. Getting married was important to him, it did not make a difference to me. The ring was also important to him. He wanted to get me a diamond, but I didn’t want one. We looked at other gemstones, he was not pleased, and in the end my concern was that the ones I liked were too soft for daily wear (read abuse). Then we came across moissanite and when I found out that it’s silicon carbide there was no other option for me. Here is why: he is on an explosive detection team and wears a bullet proof vest to work every day and silicon carbide is used in the making of such vests. So, he had no choice 😀 if he wanted to put a ring on it, it had to be moissy. But to go back to the weddding band, like my other rings, it will need to have meaning to me, its own story 🙂 like the others.
How about you? Any stories to your rings? Would love to see some of your stacks! And, don’t you love when you are trendy before the trend, maybe you were one of the one who started it 😉
So, here are photos on my hand. When I wear only 3, I wear them the way they are arranged in the original post. If I wear 4, it’s however I grab them and put them on lol.

I’m so glad I’ve found you on here, as joongielove said “you’re such a breath of fresh air…”

tbenjamin4884 :  Definitely not an angel, you’re just a very kind and sweet human being. LOL. In a world of negativity, its refreshing to see someone who can find positive in everything and everyone. Your ring could totally be a stand alone, its gorgeous. And the thick band is everything! Theres an exact matching ring to mine, because Gabriel and Co is smart, but I dont want to wear it by itself cuz it’ll just look like I dented it by mistake, and I don’t want to solder my rings together. I’ll find one..eventually. LOL. Either a flush band or a seperate pave band! And you’re right, I wouldnt mind a gap! I kinda figured regardless of what I pick there’ll be a gap, unless I go fully custom.

redearthlady :  thank you kindly! I’ve tried it with a simple pave, but I haven’t tried it with a plain band yet! That’s next to try, thank you for the suggestion! I’m a nurse so I’d love something I could wear to work without worrying about nasties getting into it, lol.

joongielove :  I think a thin plain band 2/2.5 mm would highlight the plain twist in your ering and highlight it and also be thin enough to be able to stack a thin diamond eternity at some point for maybe an anniversary, and you can also mix and match. It also would be perfect for your occupation! I’ glad I could help. It’s so great to see a lot of nice, helpful bees lately!

tbenjamin4884 :  Are you still enjoying your pear a week after having it? Hopefully it’s settling in and your getting that warm sentimental feeling for it!

nous2 :  Love your ering and all of your stacking rings. Your story is so touching, and I live the sentiment behind your rings. By the way your dbty bracelet stack is to die for!

tbenjamin4884 :  Im so glad you are still enjoying her and the sentimental attachment is growing. I read the story about your marriage above and it truly touched me. I think we can all relate to the challenges that come with marriage but it’s amazing how much yours has been through and you all came out on the other side of the troubles stronger and still together.  Those troubles will strengthen and deepen your relationship and you should think of that when you look down and see your teardrop. Yes I am still enjoying my whole little ring family. Today is solitaire day,I have been running all day planning a little Super Bowl party for my husband so I wore my other set because it’s a little less fussy.

tbenjamin4884 :   Im thinking of setting it in a bezel pendant necklace diamonds by the yard style maybe. My bands are all diamond. I have many, but all of my bands are diamond. For Valentine’s day my husband was thinking of getting me a standalone moissy band 3.5mm with 7stones so maybe I will have eye candy to share then😁. I too want moissy stud earrings 6mm for each ear but I can’t decide on what kind of setting I want for them, but they will definitely be from Moissanite Co. I love their work ethic and customer service.

tbenjamin4884 :  The mm size is 6.5mm. It’s a 1.5ct equivalent. I’m the complete opposite, I hate shopping in stores. The hassle, crowds, and pushy jewelry sales people in chain stores. When i do purchase at a jewelry store I prefer mom&pop stores. I’ve never went to helzberg to look at moissanite but from what I see online they don’ sell the hearts and arrows round cut and I do not like the regular cut Charles and Colvard f1 moissanite. I hate the splinter cut in both the round and cushions. Since you are a diamond lover I’m pretty sure you would prefer diamond cut moissy instead of the typical cut. Helzberg would be a good place to get a feel for or the stone though. For earrings especially since I have really dark hair I think moissanite would be better for earrings for me since it has a higher refractive index(more sparkle)!
