tbenjamin4884 : thank you! Yes it is yellow gold. It sits up really high and would rub on my prongs if I wore just the diamond band with my solitaire so I put the pandora one between, it sits flush with my ring because it’s low set but the yellow gold is high. I think I’m going to get maybe a really thin white gold diamond or plain band to sandwich between lol 😂. The yellow gold band has a double row of diamonds, yes similar to yours.

tbenjamin4884 : Ok here we go!
And with my halo with new ACC stone!
Sometimes I think the twist with the double halo split shank is too much…What do you think?
And bonus pic of what I’m wearing today…rose gold solitaire with rose gold 1/2 ct shared prong band.
I’m feeling simple today!😁

acgill1305 : That truly is a “better” pic, because it shows the brilliance of your stone incredibly. I love it. I think a simple band will look incredible. The setting is unique, isn’t it? I mean it inst a typical solitaire setting? (Which just to clarify I love equally as much as I love unique settings). I cant get over how bright and perfect your ring is. I hope you post your set once you get your band. I was never a big jewelry wearer, still am not, but man do I LOVE my ring.
EmeleeRose : ohhhhhh I see. That makes perfect sense, and don’t get me wrong I like the Pandora ring stacked with the new band, I just really love everything you said about the new find double row band and think it would look cool by itself next to your beauty, but I totally see what you mean with the height etc… And your pear is so substantial bands could easy get lost under that mammoth lol. I actually like the stack with the Pandora ring, but I think a slightly larger than normal (the traditional dainty) Bead band would be cool. Oh man there is a bee who has a phenomenal stack and she has a larger than normal bead band and its amazing. ummmmm what is her darn screen name??? Let me think for a sec I will try and find it, but I like hers real well especially with larger stoned rings. That would look really nice with yours or something like it or like you said a super thin one too. Nothing could look “bad” next to your beauties lol.
I think her screen name is like Mrsplrv or something like that once I submit this message Ill go look for her. I am actually a little concerned about her because She posted something a month or so ago about having a really fun halo added to her ring and then she never posted again and she was a daily poster 🙁 I even messaged her… hmmm maybe I should message her again. anyway, I am rambling, lol.
redearthlady : I cant believe how much your new stone changes the complete look of the whole ring. Like, to me, it looks like a completely different ring. Its crazy. In a good way lol. So I love love love the twist band with your new double halo ring. Like that combo of those two looks amazing. Absolutely NOT I don’t think it is too much. your split shank is not wild and I actually think the delicacy of the Neil Lane (which holy shit that is a good price for that ring) pairs perfectly with your ring and the double halo. I just cant get over how the new stone fits the setting better than the original stone. Am I wrong? IDK it just looks perfect. I will say I LOVE LOVE LOVEEEE the band with the solitaire in the last pic you posted. I am a sucker for a solitaire and “simple” diamond band and that look is exactly what I envision when I think about a solitaire and wedding band. The width is perfect the diamond size in the band compared to your solitaire is PERFECT. I LOVE IT!

tbenjamin4884 : You are totally correct, chang8ng that center stone was the best thing I ever did! It brought the ring to LIFE! I also think changing the prongs to baby claw prongs made a huge difference. I love It! It’s just a mammoth to me and I feel it draws a ton of attention all the time. I don’ know if it is,or itsjust in my head ya know. I love it with the Neil Lane band(wasn’t it a drop dead steal😁) but I think somehow wearing a straight band or no band tones down the ring but wearing it with the twist band is unapologetic and blingy! The more I look at the solitaire with this band in pics I do think the proportons are perfect with the band and I like the look a lot. It’s just classy and understated. Like I said before I’m a equal opportunity bling lover so this may be what I’m wearing today but tomorrow who knows!🤔
