I had a hard time getting a picture that truly captures how pretty and sparkly it is lol. Engaged 12.15 after six years together. Ring is .65 tcw center stone is .20 G, SI I believe. Stone is small but dang is has such fire and brilliance! The ring is currently a size 7 so I have a sizer on it but will be getting resized to a 5.5 next week.

tbenjamin4884 :  oh you aren’t dumb . The angle of the pic just made it hard to see. I keep going back and forth with resetting the center stone into a solitaire, because there are days where I feel it’s to big for daily wear and I would like something simpler.

tbenjamin4884 :  it always looks really big in pictures lol, i think it’s because it’s set kind of high, we went back and forth between 1 and 1.25 and I’m so glad we went with the latter, i think any bigger would just feel too big for me. He proposed 12/30 and we just set a date for next summer 🙂

Your pear is gorgeous! I love pears and ovals but kept coming back to the round solitaire, never say never though!

tbenjamin4884 :  Thanks! I’m really enjoying wearing her right now. Believe it or not I still wear it without  band more than I do with one. The original forever brilliant is just sitting around because I’ve never really been crazy about the traditional cushion cut facet pattern.

tbenjamin4884 :  Is there a reason you didn’t get a GIA diamond? The reason I’m asking is that a different gem lab may grade the color as an F but it may only be a GIA G or H color. Hence, I think it’s important to get the specs on that diamond asap and double check everything. If you can, I recommend getting the 1. dimensions of the diamond 2. the gem grading lab 3. the table and depth percentages 4. polish and symmetry grades 5. inclusion plot.

tbenjamin4884 :  thank you so much! You are so sweet. I was shocked he even proposed and went to pick out a ring on his own!! But I agree when it’s shining in the light it’s very distracting because it’s so pretty and looks a lot bigger than it is hahaha
