I am searching for bees with photos of rose gold/white gold two-toned wedding sets! I am newly engaged, and I am in the process of choosing a wedding band. I originally asked my Fiance to hold off on buying the band with the purchase of my engagement ring so that I could choose one that would allow us to have matching wedding sets.
I have a Charles & Colvard 2 ct. OEC moissy in a micropave halo setting. For those of you who are interested in finding more information on this ring, it can be found on Moissanite&Co, under model number eng188. WeddingBee is actually how I found the ring that I wanted as I searched through the many, many forums on engagement rings.
The wedding band options I have been looking into are plain rose gold bands, plain white gold bands, and blue sapphire micropave bands. I love blue sapphires, as it has a lot of significance with England (where my Fiance is from) and also it works perfectly with the our September wedding date. There are so many options to choose from, so I am looking to you lovely bees for guidance for what may be best for this style of ring! For reference, here are some photos of my “precious”:

Excuse the bad quality of the photos, they were taken the day of the proposal after we finished skiing. CLEARLY I was too excited to pay attention to the state of my nails while taking photos, ha.
Please share your wedding sets (even after finally having my own, I still love seeing everyone’s beautiful rings) or share your own thoughts and ideas!
Thanks bees!

LetItBee: rose gold would look great with your ring.IMO i dont wear WG i have nasty nickel allergy mine are YG !! My question to you will your Ering allow for a band to sit flush ?? You might wanna keep that in mind as well.I kn ow with halo settings a lot of bees run into that problem and end up going the custom route if they want a flush fit..If you dont mind a gap all kinds of band option are out there for you !!! My suggestion Would be slim 2mm or less band with shared prongs in RG would look awesome !!!! Congrats on your engagment happy
planning 🙂

LetItBee: gorgeous ring! Rose gold could look great, especially in a thin band. I personally love the look of mixed metals. I’m having trouble picturing a sapphire band next to it, although a band like that would be so pretty and sentimental for you. Maybe find one to try on somewhere. I would definitely find a store where you could take your ideas for a “test drive” so to say.

Your ring is absolutely breath taking by the way!..I think a thin rose gold diamond band would look awesome! The low set shared prong eternity bands moissaniteco has would go very well with your ering too!

mrssloan2013: Thank you! Did you experience any discoloration from wear on your RG? I worked in a jewelry store for a while and I saw many people bring in WG rings that were worn to the YG look.
