My guy and I visited three stores and a few websites, but couldn’t find the very thin type of band I wanted — 1.5 mm, no tapering, no knife edge. We wound up finding a jeweler who totally understood what we were looking for. My guy ordered the diamond online at BN (we’d agreed on shape and relative carat, and I let him make the other decisions) and then he had the jewel set it. Very happy with the final result — we got engaged almost 3 months ago.

Mine is a 1.61 round brilliant diamond.

Half Bezel, Size 5, .89ct

Sorry for the blue – that’s the sky reflected in my ring (you can see the clouds haha)

He ordered the setting and stone from a local jewler… just FYI it was the least pushy and best priced place he found, apparently.
The ring was a surprise and he did an excellent job!
