i didnt want ANY confusion over how many are invited. ๐Ÿ˜‰  we had a Buffet, so no meal choice.  I designed them myself to match our invites.

@jlpalumbo:  ahahah i just wrote random numbers in for a VERY bad example. It should say 4 invited, 2 attending…

@jlpalumbo:  A LOT of people didnt use the M___ thing… i got some back that said like.. “M____Uncle Jack__”  but everyone did see the # of seats and the # attendng. we didnt have ANY issues with people inviting extra guests.  Some family members wrote  their names, “and family” on the line, but most did not. So i had to go off of the # attending. So i wrote “Miss S** & Guest”  or “Mr & Mrs T** & family” on the placecards. whatever they wrote, i copied.   ๐Ÿ™‚

i did my sisters RSVPS the same way.. so we’ll see if she has any issues with her friends!

@FreckledFox:

@jlpalumbo:  We’ve had so many song requests come in already…it’s fun!  It makes me optimistic that we’ll have a rockin’ dance floor. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I’ll share ours because we did online/phone RSVP only, and I didn’t see many like that when I was designing our invitations. So this might be helpful to another bride. There’s also a photo so you can see the invitations and how the card fit into the overall scheme. It was the first insert and the darkest one in an ombre insert pocket. It is pretty small in real life, maybe 2.75 inches tall? 3 inches tall?

I don’t know why the background looks all creamy/ivory, they are printed on white cardstock in real life. I think it’s just my graphics program.

Mine are just simple, hopefully easy to fill out & return.

My Wedding is July 20 2013, so I requested 1 month notice ๐Ÿ™‚

I wanted everything very clear on the RSVP but I don’t care about guests, if its wrong I will confront the guests, all invites are clearly labeled. I also know people have allergies or are vegetarian etc. so I wanted to make sure they had a place to let us know. (eg. my mother’s boss is allergic to garlic)
