I just picked up my wedding ring, and I don’t know how I feel about it….but’s it the 2nd one we’ve picked and I don’t want to be that person at the jeweler’s. My fiance is happy to get the matching band, but I thought a plain polished band would make my e-ring stand out.
Share pics of your sets, matched or mismatched please! My potential set is below 🙂 (Pardon my nails, my niece did them!)

Here is my matching set with a spacer/stacker band to protect the prongs and keep it from being too matchy-matchy. I also wanted a different band and my Darling Husband fell in love with the matching band and convinced me.

I like your plain band! We purchased the matching band for my ering since it has a pretty specific shape with the split shank… I’m pretty undecided about it though! I originally thought I would get them soldered together, but now that I have worn the ering for a bit I think that would be way too much for everyday wear.
However, whenever I try them on together lately (wedding is next summer), I find that even with the matched shape/set, the bands separate and twist quite a bit so that there is a gap (and somehow, the point of the band seems to make my ering spin more, which is frustrating).

I really like mismatch sets! But matching sets have a very classic look them. Cant wait to wear mine in 85 days!

lbg29: Oooh is that Tacori I spy? I think we might be ring twins! I’m also at a loss about what band to pair with her. I’ve been leaning toward a plain band for the same reason you mentioned (I think your band looks lovely with the ering–classic with a modern edge!), but I’m still on the fence. I’d be interested to see if you have pics of other combos for comparison. What width did you go with on the band?
