I left my engagement ring at home this morning by accident. It’s a tanzanite so I don’t wear it all the time. I take it off pretty much as soon as I get home and put it on when I’m leaving for work. But this morning I got up late and in my rush to get to work on time didn’t even think about it.
So can you show me your shiny’s to tide me over until I get home, any kind of ring really, diamond, mossy, coloured gem stones, engagement rings, rhr’s, I’ll enjoy the lot!. I’ve got a long ten hour shift today and need something to cheer me up

OMG!! I left my e-ring at home by accident too, because I was in a real rush this morning! Hah, what a strange coincidence this post is. This is the first time I forgot to put it on and I’ve been feeling really bad all day. My hand feels “naked” if that makes sense. Here’s a photo of mine 🙂

Is that a sapphire? It’s beautiful! I’m feeling a bit naked without mine too.

My custom wedding band just arrived last week, so I am still over the moon about finally having a wedding set again. Here they are together.

I cried the first day I forgot my ring at home (yes, really LOL I was ridiculous about it) so I feel your pain! Hopefully the day goes by quickly!
I don’t have any great pics of my ring — all of them are crappy phone pics that don’t really do it justice… but here you go! Instagram-style pic of my ring with some flowers from this summer haha)

i had surgery to repair my left rotor cuff yesterday and had to leave my rings at home. I havent been able to put them on yet due too swelling, feeling so naked without them! love seeing all the shinys! its helping to take my mind off the pain. keep them coming ladies!!

Hope the surgery went well and wishing you a speedy recovery
your ring looks stunning. I haven’t got quite as far as crying yet. I just no my fiancé will be a bit disappointed, when he gets in before me, sees it on the side where I leave it (box open, I nearly had it on till I got distracted by the fact Lunch was still in the fridge) and realises I’ve gone out without it, he places a lot more sentiment on objects than I do.
That’s a beautiful set
that’s a gorgeous set. Unfortunately really slow shift so far. Only 6.5 more hours to go though!

Not an e-ring, but a tanzanite I purchased years ago on a trip to Aruba and had made into a lovely RHR by a Boston jeweler (which now only fits on my left hand!). It makes a nice “placeholder” except a few people have asked if I was engaged when they see it on my ring finger.
