@Linz1231: It never fails, right?

@JennBug89: Have you broken them in at all? As a bridesmaid, I wore the Amanda shoe from DB which doesn’t appear to still be available, but it was similar except with straps instead of the brooch detail. Anyway,we all had the most difficult time with the strap for the slingback falling off. It made it really difficult to walk in them. I definitely recommend practicing to see if you need to shorten the strap or super glue it to your foot or something!

My shoes are Badgley Mischka Lucie (they have their own thread, but of course, I’m going to start spamming shoe threads with their beauty lol) —

The left pair is my ceremony pair, the ones are the right are my trusty dance shoes for the reception.

Both are dancing shoes but I think my PT would have a heartattack if I tried dancing in the taller pair again, especially since my knees will never be 100% again.

how early did you all get your shoes? My wedding isn’t until summer ’12, but I want to buy part of my wardrobe soooo badly. I know it’s too early to buy a dress because my size might change…but my shoe size is ALWAYS the same! Riiiiight? lol.

@Amaryllis: Your shoes deserve more than their own thread, they deserve their own book cover. Sigh.  Lusting, very much so, as we speak.

@Linz1231: I would totally encourage you to buy a pair! I will be that devil on your shoulder. But they come in black — they could totally be your all purpose formal shoe!

@HappilyEverAfter54: Aw, bummer! Yeah, I’m very much in love with them ๐Ÿ™‚ hehe.  FI and I were killing time at Nordstrom before a movie and I convinced him to look at shoes with me – an amazing feat in itself – and we found my shoes, but in a different color. I loved them, but they were a periwinkle-ish color and I was super bummed because there wasn’t really a way for me to make them work with our color scheme (other than an almost-kinda-sorta-wannabe-ish “something blue” lol). So I googled the shoe name later that night and found out that they sold them in Ivory online only! Perfectttt!

@Amaryllis: Haha thanks…. funny thing is that I’m not really a bling-y person, but I saw them and instantly fell in love! My dress has some blingy accents also which, again, was rather surprising to me! haha
