Mine doesn’t have such a mermaid bottom as the one in the stick photo, it’s more A Line, but everything else looks the same! The bridal shop told me mine was “Private Collection” but I still don’t really know what that means!
And I agree – we look WAY better than the stock photo! I just got an ivory sash to go with the ivory dress.

This was my first dress- J. Crew Vivian. I have switched now to a different dress, but this is as clean, classic, simple as it gets:

I have the same dress for my wedding in Michigan, and am so happy to see someone else took the bow off! I am doing the same thing. Did you get yours altered at David’s Bridal? If you did, you would mind letting me know how much your alterations cost? All they reallly have to do to mine is take the bow off, shorten it just a tad, and make it a bit more form fitting up top. You look beautiful.

Just bought mine a couple weeks ago and it’s exactly what I was looking for. Layers of silk organza, and it’s sooo comfortable and lightweight to wear!

These are all beautiful!
I love simple dresses, too. I could have gone even less busy than this, but I fell in love with the back. 🙂

Even though there is a some “detail” in the ruching/columning/ruffling of the fabric, I consider my dress simple as it has no beading, bling, or other fanciness 🙂
