Just got engaged over the weekend!  Here’s my antique/vintage yellow gold illusion head ring that is an heirloom from FI’s grandma.  I absolutely love this ring!  Up close it looks like a smaller but very glittery diamond in a vintage setting, but from further away when it reflects the light it actually looks more like a larger princess cut.

Loving all the beautiful rings on this thread! Here’s my engagement ring. It was my fiance’s great grandma’s ring from 1923. The main stone is a little under half a carat. and the little triangles are sapphires.

here’s mine. Around 1/4 tcw with a .2 center I believe. I had a promise ring that my fiance gave me years ago, and that I wore without removing until he replaced it with my engagement ring, it was maybe .005 tcw.

summnita :  I really don’t know where people get off or why they feel the need to say that someone’s ring isn’t real because it is too small, in my opinion no diamond is too small, they are a thing of beauty regardless of size. If someone’s ring came with a proposal (diamond or not) it’s an engagement ring. Your ring is absolutely gorgeous as are all the rings on this thread.
