We just ordered my engagement ring from James Allen. It’s a 0.30ct round solitaire (F/VVS1/Ideal lab diamond) on a white gold setting with a 2mm band. I’m so excited for it to arrive!
It seems like EVERYONE’S rings are 0.50ct or greater. Let’s see your small, simple solitaires!

This is an heirloom, given to me by my step mama. It’s a hundred year old wedding set that her grandmother wore in 1920. Definitely one of my favorite things I own.

My wedding set. It’s .49 ct solitaire, .21 ct total (I think) in Metro band.

I bought this because I love its mid century vibe. Vintage Jaebel. Approx .25 carat in center, .05 each side.

My husband’s brother proposed to his wife with his grandmother’s ring. The diamond is somewhere around a .25 or .3 and that thing sparkles like crazy! She paired it with a scalloped wedding band that has little diamonds in each scallop. Just the right amount of bling. Very tasteful. Gorgeous set. Also, the petite size of the diamond allows it to sit low profile which suits my sil’s active lifestyle. Bigger isn’t always better.

Mine is a 0.33ct heirloom diamond we reset. It fits me and my lifestyle perfectly and now that I’m pregnant and wearing a stand-in ring, I miss wearing it even more!

The bezel intrigues me and knowing the band is your great grandmother’s makes this already gorgeous set so special. Wear it with joy!
