I’m trying to decide what ratio I want. Can you show me your solitaire ovals with their ratio and carat size please?
I feel like I’m more into an elongated one so I’d love to see someone with a 1.50 RATIO

Mine is a 1.37 ratio which is around what I think is ideal. When we were shopping, I was looking for 1.36-1.42 ratio because I think it gets the elongation and a nice width across the finger. Your tastes sound a little different though so hopefully someone else has a ratio closer to what you are looking for.

Mine is 1.38 ratio so less elongated than what you’re looking for but I thought I’d share since it’s an oval😄

I THINK my lab ruby is 1.72 ratio. It’s dimensions are 10.93 x 6.33mm it’s not set and kinda fingerprinty from me checking it out but hopefully it helps anyway. Im a size 7 ring size right now

Mine has a ratio of 1.48, so pretty close to what you’re looking for

I loooove your ring! I actually sent you a private message about it so I’m happy you responded! Ya 1.47 is seeming like the sweet spot to me. So I love knowing yours is 1.48. How many carats?

It’s beautilful! How many carats? I find you can go lower on the ratio is the carat is higher.

I’m no oval expert, but my understanding is bowtie usulally tends to be more evident when you get to a ratio of 1.4+. Just something to keep in mind if bowtie is a concern.
