@atlbride2013:

@RexManningDay:  me tooo! me too!!  I don’t have any photos of me in the dress, but mine was definitely a splurge. But I bought the sample, so kind of a bargain considering. Still wayyyyy more than i ever anticipated spending.

Here it is! Jenny Packham Papillon (on another bride)

@coffeeeeee:  Oh YAY! I love seeing other Jenny brides. I feel like there are so few of us over in the states (comparatively to some of the other designers).

I love Papillon too! I’ve spied quite a few photo shoots with the light streaming in on that dress hanging up. The beading=swoon.

my original budget was $1000, but when i lost my mom a few months ago, i decided mom would want me to have whatever dream dress i wanted due to everything.. i ended up ordering a $6500 lazaro. alterations are going to be between $500-1000 more. we had to hold it up becuase i am not a size 6

Mine is my 2nd dress.  I got a steal on my first dress ($600) but after we changed our date the dress didn’t fit my vision anymore.  So I found this beauty on a website and HAD to try her on.  I instantly fell in love…but it was $2000 which is $1000 over my original budget which put me $1600 over SIGH. But sometimes you have to pay a little more if you really want your dream dress.

@cemetree I’m so sorry to hear about your mother.  I’m sure wedding planning has been hard for you.  I wish you the best of luck and happiness.

By The Way you did the right thing following your heart as far as your dress.  You are going to look and feel like a princess!  From one lazaro bride to another~ love it!

@Patisseriepeach:  I actually drove up to Vancouver to Blush Occasions and tried it on at a trunk show. Marcella’s doesn’t have it or at least a month ago they didn’t. The staff at Blush are so attentive and the shop is GORGEOUS. You get your own private area with all the dresses and it doesn’t get over crowded like Marcella’s. Blush is highly recommended!&

@MASPA:  and  @FauxBoho: thanks so much! The dress is so comfortable, I’m excited to wear it.  🙂

So, my budget was $800 or under, but when I put this on, I knew before I even saw a mirror that it was the One. $1300, but only $200 for alterations (because it FITS me!) The front pic doesn’t do it justice because my damn arm is in the way, but the back, yeah. I love my Liz Harris.
