We are doing a wedding photo card and I love how they turned out! Only downside is that we waited so long to get our pictures back and then still had to order the thank you cards.. I am quickly approaching my 3 month deadline to get my thank you’s out!

We sent photo postcards.  Picture quality isn’t the best here, but they came out really adorably.  We used a couple sneak peeks from the photographer so we could get them made quickly… hoping to get them out this week by the 2 month mark.

We had our postcards printed before the wedding (I made them) and posted them while on our honeymoon in France. My husband and I are SO bad at remember this type of stuff that I just wanted it done with asap!

I re-used the leaf design I painted for our wedding favors, just replaced the cornflowers we used for them with lavender. I was a little hesitant sending something that didn’t include a photo, but it was so nice to have it done within a week of the wedding. Also, turns out our guests loved them, so it wasn’t a concern after all.

I used the same design for my STD and Thank You cards.  I used vistaprint (the website offers great deals and there is usually a coupon code available)

We did not include a photo because I really did not want the expense of printing the photos.

Does anyone really keep those little photos anymore????

We also hand wrote each thank you card message …. my Darling Husband and I split the task….  🙂

I hate getting wedding thank you photo cards, unless there is something hand-written on them. I took the time to buy you a nice wedding gift, and you send me a generic card? Don’t get me wrong, I love getting wedding photos….but no actual note? My sister did that and it just rubs me the wrong way. It’s better than nothing, but it just comes across as lazy.

Our thank you cards are simple but I like them. I used the blue ones for shower thank-yous, and the white version for wedding thank-yous. They are from Crane & Co., I think I ordered them from Papyrus? Not sending photos.

They aren’t the most exciting but I got them at Marshalls for $15 ($5/pack of 40).  I thought they were a great buy and simple yet classy looking. After all the stress of wedding planning, I just wanted my thank you notes to be simple Smile that way I can get them out more quickly too!

@luverly7:  I agree. We definitely wrote a message on the back of each postcard!
