Bonus points if your e-ring has a plain shank!
I definitely want a straight wedding band but I’m so confused about whether I want a plain or diamond band. On one hand I love how plain bands match the shank of my e-ring but on the other hand some extra sparkle might be nice. Would love to see your pics, thank you!
Here is my three stone e-ring:

@Audrey2: I love your ring! I did a google image search and ended up back here on the bee. I LOVE the look of the sets in posts #22 and #23. I think that look would compliment your e-ring most!

My set is an oval center stone with pear sides (plain shank)! I have a channel set diamond band to go with it, which I love. You have probably seen that picture. I also have a rose gold band and a milgrain band. I can stack them or wear them one at a time. Here is a stock picture of my milgrain band.

This is not a good quality picture but here is my ring with my two stack bands.

@ceebree: Thank you! Thanks for finding me those pictures too, that’s sweet of you!
@lululee40: Thanks, I’m not sure whether I’ve seen the picture of your wedding band, but I remember seeing your e-ring! Hard to see the stack in the second picture you posted but that milgrain band is lovely.
@lovekiss: Thanks so much for posting your set, it’s lovely and it’s reassured me that a diamond band can look great with a plain e-ring shank!
@tallierand: That is a beautiful set. I love the fluted shank on your e-ring and the sapphire centre stone.
I’m about to go on holiday in case anyone else responds to this! Will catch up when I get back.

Mine technically is a 5-stone ring, but the baguette on each side is the same width as the band itself, so I think it should still help give you some ideas.
Personally I really like a plain band – it compliments the ring but doesn’t compete with it. I like the classic look of it.

Here is my set. I have a very similar ring to yours. I ended up going with a small 5 stone band in platinum.
I had similar thoughts to yours. After trying on a number of contoured rings, I decided I wanted them to look like two separate rings. But when i tried on plain bands, it looked to me like one really wide band.
Since my e-ring has prong setting, I decided I preferred a prong set wedding band. I liked how the diamonds just about match up with the ends of my sapphires so you can still see the simple bands on both the rings.
Sorry the pic has an optical illusion. The main center stone of my e-ring is blocking the center stone of the wedding band.
I hope that helps!
