Trying to decide between a solitaire and a 3 stone. This is not making it any easier. Lol

michellelynn9175 :  I started with a solitaire that had a weird setting. For our 5th wedding anniversary this year my husband agreed to a reset. I kept my stone and added side stones to it. I had a really tough time deciding what to do w my stone and the boards here made me go crazy (now i wish i did a halo but i find it’s not that practical). In a month’s time im getting my new flush set/etoile style wedding band just cos it’s time to mark the next 5 years 😆

jisforjasmine :  Oh ive gone through the halo dilemma too. It’s been a LONG road and I’m still undecided. Like you, the boards make me crazy too. Lol! I don’t wear much jewelry, so I want to make sure it’s perfect since it will be my forever set. (Upgrade after 12+ years of marriage.) I just did start this whole three stone thing, but I just really love the finger coverage you get with them. I also considered a mix of styles, and doing a round halo center with 2 round side stones without halos. There are just too many options if you ask me. Damn the internet and all it’s possibilities! Long gone are the simple days when you went to the jeweler and those were your options. Haha!

Mine’s not an obvious three stone but it does have two small side diamonds….

frenchtoastvegan :  Thank you! the champagne diamond on the left side is actually darker than the other side stone on the right. Sometimes the darker stone throws purple and pink hues in some lighting. Very interesting though! I love it!
