I have no idea how many inches each layer was, but it was a nice medium sized cake. We had fewer than 20 guests but I wanted a cake with some presence. Our cake was made to serve 40 very generous portions. It would have been plenty for 50-60 guests. We ate cake for a good week after the wedding, and that was after sending cake home with friends.

Irish2014:  Very cute cake. The tiers look like the’re 4, 6, and 8 inches just from looking at the picture.

This was my cake. It was suppose to feed 120 but we ended up having only 100 guests.

amy.d-y:  your cake is awesome! I have a similar design in mind, the base layer is going to match my dress

This was ours. It was able to serve my 100 guest and I’m pretty sure we still had left overs!

ElyseRose:  Here is what my cake will look like. It will be regular buttercream instead of blush colored. The tiers are 10, 8, 6 and it will serve about 75. We will also have 75 cupcakes which are only $1 each so they really help with the cost.
