Tiffany Solitaire 2.05CT  Tiffanys is not for everyone, their diamonds are near colorless with little or no imperfections. So if you just want a big diamond but dont really care about the quality then DO NOT get a designer ring, you can get more bang for your buck in some downtown area or something. Me on the other hand, LOVE my TIFFANYS ring, all 2 carats of it. It sparkles so bright people stop me on the daily and tell me what a beautiful ring I have. I got my fiance his wedding band from Tiffanys as well!

NiccV:  just because a rock does not have a designer name does not mean it is not good quality.

emd014:   I totally agree with you. Us bees that know a thing or two about diamonds know that is absolutely not true at all.

NiccV:  LOL. Beautiful ring, and I LOVE me some Tiffany… but you are implying that anyone who loves larger stones doesn’t care about the other specs. You are also implying that other non-designer rings are not good quality. You must know that is false, so I’ll chalk it up to simple blind excitement about your ring 😉

Gotta say ladies, gorgeous rings!

known fact I love Tiffany and think their diamonds and craftsmanship standards out perform other brick and mortar and of course mass market jewelry stores by a country mile…

…..But you can definitely get supremely amazing diamonds of the same or greater quality elsewhere for less. That’s just also a fact.

NiccV:  very lovely ring but you could get the same quality diamond at a number of retailers who sell ideal cut (AGS 000) diamonds. And of course you would pay less. You’re paying for the tiffany experience which is fine.

soontobewilson:  Which Tiffany ring is this? I’ve never seen one with 4 prongs and a tapered band! I love 4 prongs!

ETA: Nevermind.. A simple google search has led me to the answer. Haha. Tiffany Harmony? Its really nice.

Before Weddingbee, I would totally roll my eyes at the “brand hype”. After seeing some of the Tiffany rings posted here though, I’ve totally changed my mind. Tiffany stones definitely seem a cut above the rest(MrsBB has a pic where her ring looks like the sun, and GridMonster has a pic where her stone looks like some bottomless kaleidoscope!). Maybe Tiffany owners just get better ring pics? Dunno, but whatever it is, those rings always look amazing!

MrsSparkleBee13:  I know!  I’m not the type of person to knock a rock just because of a name,  Tiffany jewelry is beautiful.  My grandmother’s ring is Tiffany.  I own their jewelry.  But just because it doesn’t say Tiffany doesn’t mean it’s not good quality.  I just had to put my two cents in!  A rock is a rock is a rock.  Lol.  And Tiffany is not the only company that sells xxx diamonds.   I actually read that one of their suppliers is the same as Blue Nile!

stokesto:  Im implying that non designer rings are less expesnisive. Some people would rather use that money for a bigger wedding or for a downpayment on a home. However if you receieve a Tiffany ring without asking for one (like I did) you do your research and really grow to love the brand. So yes, plenty on excitement on my end, none of it blind …
