@gemgirl6:  quote: I would venture to guess she doesn’t even have a diamond engagement ring, more likely a diamond-sim man made lookalike (which of course she  “prefers”Wink) Never mind a Tiffany ring!

wow!!!! what a terribly bitchy thing to say and I would venture to guess that everyone who doesn’t have a Tiffany or diamond like you still treaures their erings just as much.

@saldanha84:  Honestly, lighting can do that in pictures. My e-ring is white gold with beautiful diamonds, but on some pictures it looked all yellowish. That could give it a warm look in pictures, but it’s absolutely not what it looks like in real life. Pictures with flash gave the ring a truer color, so do pictures in natural, bright sunlight.

Your ring doesn’t look what I consider warm. It’s not in the true colourless range but that doesn’t mean there’s anything wrong with it. Green isn’t better than blue isn’t better than pink! It’s just personal preference. The biros I buy are more expensive in blue, just because it’s more popular so it’s a good way for a shop to make more cash (hello capitalism!) it doesn’t mean they are “better”! Don’t worry, I don’t think warm is insulting, maybe she meant it bitchily maybe she didn’t but it doesn’t change your lovely ring!

I don’t automatically think people who don’t care for Tiffany are jealous though. That’s a bit wishful thinking on the part of a pp there.

I like the tiffany rubedo metal, I love the colour. I don’t like they way it’s branded though, names printed on things are a big turn off for me. I didn’t buy any. I’m not jealous of someone who did because I don’t want any! Lol

@Cookie86:  they look gorgeous. The knife edge one is thicker than I thought (I like that!) I considered one in the 2mm but I went for palladium in the end, the site I bought it from had lots of depth choices which I liked.

We don’t have a Tiffany store here in Newfoundland so it’s been really interesting to see all of these rings. I especially love TammieRei’s flower ring!  The only piece of Tiffany jewelry I own is a silver charm bracelet my aunt bought for me in British Columbia.

Here’s mine.  It took 12 years to get but I’m really happy with it.

And with my 2.5mm palladium band (not Tiffany, obviously).  I don’t know if I like the band though, it’s a lot grayer than I expected.  And not as bright and shiny.
