Current obsession: Trains. I’d love to see all kinds…short, long, super long, sheer, satin, lace, pick ups, etc. Did the train factor into why you bought your dress? Did you alter your train to look differently?
*Bonus points if you also have pics of your train bustled!

@urbanriceball: I loved my dress in every way so the train was only a portion of why my dress was picked 🙂
I didn’t bustle my train but had it around my wrist during dancing!

The train is one of the main reasons why I picked the gown. I went in saying I wanted no train at all. Nothing, no drag, no length. Nothing. Yeah, I didn’t stick with that.

@urbanriceball:
Train of the original gown, with pickups… I did like the way this one looked bustled – sort of victorian era-ish. No photo of it though.

Train of my NEW gown…!!

Here’s a pic from my first fitting. I love the lace detail on it! Haven’t decided how I want to bustle it yet.

I will be wearing my mom’s dress after a significant remake! But the train will be the same!

The benefits of being short… longer train! I wish the the clips weren’t there, but here’s the train on the sample!

@urbanriceball: Oh and btw, hi Chunk and Chunk’s mommy! 😉 To answer your question, yes, I knew I wanted a train when I started dress shopping. Nothing too long though, so my dress’s train is the ideal length for me.

@Soon2BeMrsS: The lace on your gown is beautiful and the train shows it off so nicely!
@emmalyn: I love re-worked mom dresses!! Unfortunately, my mom has no idea where her dress is…
@Treejewel19: Whoa! Amazing how they can fit all that material into that bustle…
@bridetobee16: Hah – I didn’t think about that. I’m really short too!
