My train from the back and the side. the train of the dress was a factor I looked at when choosing my dress
@urbanriceball: I actually did NOT want a train when I was picturing my wedding day. I had originally pictured a poofy ball gown, but my mind changed when I went that day to try some on. I was going to have them remove the train but that would cost a lot more than just having it bustled…..and I’ll just let the train out for the ceremony and then bustle it right away – she showed me a ballgown bustle that I absolutely loved where they put a ribbon on where you tie it at the bottom and it just looks like you don’t have a train at all.
I never gave the train much thought until I found my dress which fueled a mini obsession lol
My bustle photo was taken at my first fitting on my phone. Sorry it’s crappy. I didn’t get any pro photos of the back of my dress.
I wish I had a decent picture of my train! My friend was taking the pictures, and she sucked at using my camera, and never managed to get a full picture. I cant even remember how long it is! I go for my fitting on the 23rd though, so I’ll be sure to get a better picture.
I have no idea how they’re going to bustle it. I want a wrist loop kind, but I dont think that’ll work with my dress.
I initially didn’t think I wanted a train, but then I tried a few dresses on, and realised I was really quite enjoying having a bit of business going on at the back, so that was definitely a factor.
It’s not super fluffed out here because it was kinda cramped (I did already post this on an anon account, but I’m being brave and posting it here since FH seems to have stopped getting bored and following me around weddingbee)
@urbanriceball: My train feels huge to me but doesn’t look tha t big in the pic. I LOVE MY TRAIN. I think it’s very pretty. 🙂
This is such a beautiful thread….All you ladies have beautiful dresses/trains
