I love vintage wedding dresses, and I considered getting one for some time before finding a new dress that I loved. Pics of real brides in vintage dresses are hard to come by though! So go ahead and show me your vintage dresses! Jewelry and other accessories are welcome. Bonus points if you know the story behind your piece!

I don’t have a photo for you but there is a great wedding brand that has a line of up-cycled vintage one of a kind wedding dresses. It’s pretty cool to check out.

I hadn’t seen these before! Thanks for sharing!

My dress is not true vintage, but, my mother is wanting me to wear her jewelry she wore at her wedding in 1949 (yeah, I’m that old). So, I’ll have some TRUE vintage pieces.

I just bought this fascinator on Saturday at a vintage shop. I’ll need to replace the netting and pin back that random piece hanging in front of my forhead, but for $14 I think it’s awesome for my reception 🙂
I’ve been looking for a vintage 50’s/60’s dress, but it’s damn near impossible to find true vintage in a size 14 :/
*Please excuse how overly serious I appear in the following photos haha!

I’m not married yet so I can’t help but I love this online vintage shop that sells the most beautiful vintage bridal dresses. Her dresses sell super fast. Click on the sold archives to admire them…once she even carried a Valentino dress from the 1970s! She also has dresses available for rent…as well as accessories like vintage veils and flower crowns.

I got my dress at the charity shop I volunteer at. A woman in her 70s came in a few months ago saying her and her husband of over 50 years were retiring and she needed the space so she wanted to donate her dress! She’d had it custom made in the 1950s.
The shop manager is my homie and she saw my face freaking light up and allowed me to try it on. She let me have it for a $50 donation. It’s genuinely the most beautiful dress I have ever seen and I can’t wait to wear it.
