@MrsSnowMountain:  Thanks! The place is called Cynthia Findlay. I’d definately recommend going in person- there are so many more rings in person than on the website  (although the website is fun to browse). And ours were very fairly priced- we didn’t have a big budget at all.

    Here’s mine 🙂  E-ring from the 1920s, wedding band from the 1910s!

My main ring has a vintage setting with antique diamonds. The other wedding bands are new but the one looks vintage so I went for it.

I also have an antique Victorian ring he bought me while we were dating that came from a local antique dealer. It has a moonstone and then two itsy-bitsy OEC accent diamonds. (only pictures I have on this computer are from when I first got it and it wasn’t sized properly). This one is worn less often since it’s so old – it’s great for special occassions but I don’t want to ruin it with daily wear.

I like having a ring (and other jewelery) that has some history behind it. I’ve always loved this kind of stuff, though. I’ve had a knack for fishtail prongs so that was something I was sure I wanted to have for my every-day set. I have some newer, more modern rings that I like but something just takes my breath away about vintage/antique jewelry (and the cuts of the diamonds/gems).

I have a vintage styled ring! I absolutely love it, it’s handmade and unique! I don’t wish I had a vintage ring because years later mine will be vintage and will be passed on to the next generation. It’s the style that I love!

    My centerstone is a sapphire!
