I bought mine for $147.00 off ebay! It’s a custom made dress, specific to my exact measurements so, no alterations! I love it! I won’t be wearing the sash in the picture. I have made a new one in a lighter color with lots more sparkle.  🙂

@alina dee:  I tried that one on in a salon! It’s Beautiful! I was browsing the rue la la site a lil while ago. They have some awesome bridal steals!

Here’s mine. It’s Jasmine Collection F420. I’m adding extra length to the train and after alterations it should run $850. I love the sash!

This is a great thread! Sometimes it’s easy to get caught up in the “my dress budget has to be $5000” complex (anyone else? no?). It’s great to see so many lovely dresses that wouldn’t put me in debt!

the wedding shoppe inc has a website, and though you dont need to live near here or buy from there – they have the best website ive seen for searching and looking at gowns.

you can filter by price – and there are THOUSANDS under $1000! many beautiful gowns.

good luck!

I got my dress for $650.  It was a sample from a store that was going out of business and I got it for 70% off the label price!
