Oh this page gives me hope that I can get a beautiful dress for under $1000. I can’t even swallow paying $1000 for a dress but I would pay more than $200-300 for one since I pay that for a normal dress.

I bought mine off the rack. Was 599 from 1399. Saleswoman gave it to me for 325 cause she thought it was made for me and wanted me to have it. I had the steals shortened and a bustle added for $25.

My original dress budget was 3k. I acknowledge that I’m a bit of a materialist.

Andddd then David’s Bridal had a sale, and I bought 2 dresses for $378. Still undecided on which to wear. Maybe both, haha.

Originally $1028 but bought off the rack for $858. Alterations quoted was $300

@lisha_1988:  I got my dress from a store here in Canberra, but it came from Melbourne, the designer is iModa and I believe they have lots under $1000

mine was $650 + $120 alterations

My dress was $750. Alterations were another $250-300.

My veil was $25 from ebay, and my crionline was another $25 from ebay. It’s definitely doable!
