@MerryWidow:  I don’t have one but I’m just bumping this for you. Moissy is nice with that hint of warmth.

Just got this ring a week ago. I love it! It doesn’t look yellow at all and don’t regret not getting enhanced.

These are unset, but they are all unehnaced OEC moissanite.  Assuming you are worried about the colour??  OECs are warmer cut stones, so keep that in mind.  But these pics show the warmth that moissy can get in overcast, dim lighting.  ALthough I personally love it.

Mine is an unenhanced set in a yellow gold bezel, which plays up the warmth a little in some lighting. In real life is it usually just sparkly, and bright, and often quite white but it is not ICEY white at all (which for me is good). I think the actual colour of mine, since it is an OEC, is maybe closer to an M or N. It is quite the chameleon though! In my car it does show more of its yellow warmth.

Here is a quick sample of it in some different environments:

Outdoors in overcast/rainy weather:

Outdoors in partial sun. You can see how much it picks up colour here, including the yellow of the metal:

Indoors in natural daylight. Again, you can see how it picks up colour:

@jcent:  I still think you were lucky to get to play with so many at once!

That OEC with a tiny culet (or without a culet) sort of does a mind-warp on me now though, especially face on. I am so used to faceted culets now for the OECs. It is so funny now that I used to think they looked like “holes” in the stones!

@JustLove25:  They ar not all mine, I was just playing with them.  😉

@RayKay:  That one was an 8mm, and there was a culet, but it was tiny…  C&C QC???  however, for someone that likes tiny culets it was a pretty stone.  I think I like ’em just a big bigger.  I want to be able to see through it, but not be distracted, lol.

@jcent:  Yup, I totally get it – you want something that is there, but not something you will fall into, ha ha. There are people who prefer no culet/tiny culet, so I am sure it is perfect for someone, it just looks so different to me now!
