Mine is definitely unique, with the floral setting and a ruby.

I really like your ring! Can we see a top view? And have you picked out a band yet or will you wear it single?

Your ring is really lovely. I’m sorry you’re having ring envy. I’ve never been a traditionalist, so here’s my white sapphire and diamond e-ring. I’ve had it for two months, and I’m still obsessed with it. ๐Ÿ™‚

Nothing about mine is typical.  It’s made of silver, it’s got an aquamarine center stone (my birthstone, which I’ve wanted in my engagement ring for years).  The stones are all very small.  It has an interesting but simple design that I still stare at over a year after getting it.  It’s loosely based on a custom jeweler’s design that I found online, but my husband made several modifications when he ordered it, so it truly is one of a kind.

aimerxoxo:  My dress is a bit nontraditional as well..just bought it today! But girlie – you sound like you like that, so embrace it. I know it’s a lot of decision making, but you do sound like you know yourself, so I hope you get more comfortable with the choices you’ve made.

aimerxoxo:  I originally felt this way too! When I say the classic rings I used to get ring envy. Here’s what ended up happening: I got a decoy ring in that style. (in CZ) to wear when I wanted that super blingy halo set style. After wearing it for 2 weeks and then going back to my original ring I fell SO much more in love with my unique ring and now I never want anything else! We even went to buy a wedding band today and while in store I was looking at all the rings and didn’t like them anymore! Once you start actually wearing a “classic” ring after your unique ring you’ll probably love your unique one even more!

I think my ring is unique? I think I’ve only seen anything on the bee that looked remotely like it once?

If my picture is huge I apologize๐Ÿ™ˆ My ring is definitely not what I would have ever thought of for myself. I’d always imagined a bezel. But mine is a victorian mold diamond cluster and I love it more and more every time I look at it๐Ÿ˜Š beautiful rings ladies!

My engagement ring is an Australian black opal. I typically wear it with my 15th anniversary blue diamond.
