Here she is…Looks like a standard oval/halo but it’s actually a non-precious rock (larimar) set underneath a diamond so the color varies from blue to green depending on the lighting. My Fiance also designed the band to be more freeform and abstractly represent mountain ridges and flowing water. There’s a lot of personal symbolism packed into my ring. I absolutely love it!

I never thought about this before, but I think I kind of gravitate toward unusual rings and settings. (Not that I don’t adore the classic and elegant look of a solitaire, because I think those are amazingly gorgeous, too. Basically, I love everything shiny!!
)
My ERing, which I never really thought of as unique or unusual. But, honestly, I’ve never seen another like it. Ever. So, I guess it must be kind of different. It’s even more unusual now, I guess, because I had the little diamond baguettes replaced with sapphires.

My anniversary ring. It’s all diamonds, which isn’t all that unusual with regard to wedding jewelry. But I think the setting is unusual. Again, I’ve not seen any like it, and I haven’t seen many that have the same type of setting style for the shank and shoulders.

And this is an alternate “just because I love you” set that was a gift from my DH to celebrate a life event last year. (? I think it was last year. LOL) It’s London Blue Topaz and set in rose gold.
