I have 14k rose gold pink spinel I love it. Diamonds just don’t do it for me.  But I do have a diamond set. B

I have a sapphire center stone. I’ve always wanted a sapphire, even when I was a little girl. I have zero regrets. I think diamonds are beautiful but a diamond engagement ring just isn’t for me. The only thought I have now is that maybe I should have gone for a more Art Deco setting but ultimately I love my ring and wouldn’t change it for anything!

I have a Tacori with a 3.5 carat garnet and a 5 carat tanzanite ring. Both are upgrades, aka “additional” rings hubby has gifted me over the years. I don’t regret these because I have a traditional diamond ring as well. But honestly I would not want either of these as my everyday ring. I enjoy changing it up with the 3, but if I only had one I would still want a more traditional clear stone!

My ring is sapphires and diamonds set in 18k gold, made in 1890. When fi and I first began shopping, I didn’t have my heart set on a colored gemstone. The only things I had my heart set on were yellow or rose gold, and finding a ring that had had a “life” of its own before it entered mine. I just wanted an old, unique ring, and I ended up falling in love with my ring. I don’t regret the decision at all. Diamonds are gorgeous, and in fact, the hand cut diamonds in my ring are my favorite part! It’s their quirky facets and inclusions that make them stand out to me. Simple traditional diamond rings are stunning, but they’re just not me.

Woohoo! All of you ladies have beautiful rings!!! I’ll play along!

Mine is white 18ct gold with a 1.62ct black diamond in the centre and white diamons in the halo. So in love! My favourite part is the love heart that the gold is shaped into in the bridge of it. laughinglaughinglaughing

I think I qualify? My ring is diamond but it’s an everlon knot deign and whenever I share it someone usually says it’s “unique” or some other word to indicate it’s different from the engagement rings you typically see. I LOVE my ring, my favorite thing about it is how flat and low it os, I can’t stand anything sticking off my hand, my promise ring is/was (I still have it but my engagement ring replaced it on my finger) a small cathedral cluster and I often caught it on things and my cat tried to bite it off my finger a few times, lol. It was also a pleasant suprise that it is bigger than I thought it would be because it was listed as being 1/5 ct, which I thought was the total carat weight, but it turned out to be the size of the center stone 😍

My set is yellow gold with a rustic yellow diamond center. I also have a more traditional diamond set ( funny how so many of us switched) and ended up with this one from a local artist for an anniversary. I love it to bits, although I will say I very rarely get compliments on it whereas people were always saying nice things about the original. This is perfect for my life now and suits me so well that I don’t really give a hoot.

livkb :  Pretty sure mine qualifies ( I’ve posted them everywhere lol) We both wanted me to have a heart shaped diamond solitare and then we were blessed to find these beauties. I didn’t like them as much at first, then I begin to love the uniqueness. They are so “me” & I’m glad I listened to my Fiance Here’s my “engagement set”-He proposed with 2 rings(we will upgrade one day, but I will be keeping these)
