@yogaqueen:  My hair is thick but very fine and naturally curly – but I think it will be straightened for this ‘do. I think it depends on product and hairspray and watnot, plus you can tease the braid out more of less depending on what you want!

 

It’s actually a home tutorial from thebeautydepartment.com, called ‘an inside out braid and two twists’.

@yogaqueen:  EXTENSIONS!!! Clip-ins from Sally’s Beauty for about $100 and SO worth it (and you can use them again). I used them for my up-do because even after growing my hair all year it just wasn’t enough for what I wanted. Sorry for the huge picture, here’s from my trial (I like it better than what she actually did the day of the wedding, c’est la vie). Added a blingy comb the day of.

@yogaqueen:  You can always have enough hair if you add clip in extensions, as most brides with these beautiful, massive manes do!

Here’s pics of my (and my sister’s hair) at my wedding.  My hair is a little past my shoulders.  My sister’s hair just hit her shoulders.  We did more of a classic updo
