Don’t have a pic of my old ring but it was a .5 princess. This is a .93 round, I have two plain wedding bands coming to go with it. 👏🏻

Bobbys-Girl:  Thank you very much! Some people don’t like the airline look as much but for me, it adds a little bit of character to my ring!

Here’s my upgrade while I loved loved loved my original e-ring I had a huge problem with it after resizing the diamonds kept on falling off (my amazing fiance is not really that knowledgeable abt diamonds and bought sas my ring one day while he was at the mall and decided to buy it from a chain store, honestly I loved my ring even though it was from a chain store just because my fiancé picked it out on his own without any help)  Anyways this store is not really notorious for bad craftsmanship but I had to have diamonds replaced four times and as our wedding is coming closer I had stopped wearing my original ring due to the fact that I did not want my ring to have to get sent in again and be gone for two months again. I was using my promise ring as a stand in and my fiancé felt so bad. So a week ago he randomly asked me why I’m not wearing my engagement ring to a family dinner we were going to and kind of persuaded me to go get the ring out of the safe and wear it. When I went in the safe I couldn’t find the black ring box that I keep my ring in and started to panic. I went back in our room and there he was ‘recreating’ our original proposal and asked me if I would still marry him and gave me my new ring!

old ring (I loved this ring for sentiments reasons so much and I am sort of sad that I don’t have it anymore, this was with the matching wedding band which we decided to keep)

New ring which is such a big up grade and I love again that he found the perfect ring with out any help 🙂

My DH picked out my original diamond which was very sweet of him. However it did not have the best cut and the way it looked/sparkled suffered because of this. The cut looked very splintery. We recently upgraded my diamond to GIA triple excellent and I could not be happier!

I didn’t go much bigger, that wasn’t important to me. Cut really is king!

I’m not sure if mine counts as an “upgrade” because it’s a totally different ring, and it was a gift for our 15th. But … it did feel like a big change to me.

My original ERing (which I still have & wear):

Anniversary ring (“upgrade”?) for our 15th:

And this past October, for our 17th anniversary, I had our jeweler do a little “facelift” on my ERing. He replaced the diamond baguettes with blue sapphires.

My original engagement ring, that I kept for my daughter, I think it’s a 0.59 CT center and 70 small diamonds in yellow gold

For our 2 years anniversary my husband bought me my dream ring, three stone ring

This is 2.43 CT light yellow diamond (w-x, IF) and 0.51 CT side trapezoids (F,vvs1) in platinum and 18 yellow gold from Leibish and co. Love this ring ❤️
