@kat912 I love your Veil! Do you mind sharing the length and if it more than one layer?

I’m undecided yet. But this Cathedral is what I’m leaning towards.

Here’s mine. It was fairly short, only coming down to my elbows.

I’ll be shortening this veil that I bought from a fellow bee to a fingertip length for the reception.

And I’ll be wearing this cathedral length (bought online for $60 online) either by itself or with the other one underneath for the ceremony

I literally bought three different veils to take them home and compare with the dress. Before I heard of the drop veil, I’d always thought the poofier the better. I loved the “big princess” kind of look. However, after trying on the cathedral length drop veil there was no comparison. The simplicity and elegance just pulled everything together!

I hate how I look in the first picture but it shows off my veil really well.

I’m not coordinated enough to wear a super long veil, but I do think they’re beautiful (just not when I’m tripping over one lol)

I’ve been umming and ahhing about this veil because as much as I love it, I’m not sure how practical it is… well today I took my girls to “play dress up” and they LOVED it and promised me they’d be more than happy to handle it and nudge a toe on it if it threatens to blow away (rooftop ceremony) 😉 The edging is the same lace as my dress. I think I’m sold!
