My dress is Maggie Sottero Agnes, a mermaid gown with a beaded bodice and ruffled skirt. I was underwhelmed by all of the veils at the small shop I bought my dress from and need some inspiration! I’m thinking an elbow or fingertip length but have no idea how to balance the intricacy of my dress with a veil. Show me photos of your veils, with or without your dress to help me construct my vision!

Mine is a cathedral length double layer tulle veil, with a raw edge. I am wearing Maggie Sottero Tracey and will have my hair down rather than up like in the picture 🙂

I wanted a plain veil too as my dress is also detailed. My veil has a curly corded edge and is one layer when the blusher is over my face. Hopefully you can see it okay in this pic.

missoptimism: haven’t gotten my professional photos yet. This is my dress my train is kinda caught up though in this picture. I didn’t even want a veil until 3 weeks befire the wedding. Mine is a double tier fingertip veil. But with only a small different between the tiers.i got it hand made on etsy and the lady hand stictched the embroidery to match my dress. Hard to see in this picture but there’s embroidery around the edges of the veil. I l

It’s by Paloma Blanca, V443F. I just looked up your dress and I think they would go perfectly together! It has amazing movement, and if you want to wear the top piece over your face, it hits at the perfect point.
