Here is mine 🙂
Here is mine 🙂
downloadgirl: sad because this is the best shot we got of my veil. My Maid/Matron of Honor (my dear sister) did not do a great job of fluffing out my dress or my veil during the ceremony so most of the pictures are of them bunched up. I can’t believe I forgot to ask my photog to get a good one during our formal shots! Anyway it was a cathedral length veil with chapel length train.
Mine is a raw edge tulle cathdral veil. I didn’t want anything that would compete with the tulle mermaid train.
elw728: I’m so sorry to see you’re sad! your picture is beautifu! If you feel you missed a good shot, have you considered hiring a photographer to do an additional shoot maybe at a local park? I’m already planning to have a photography session, or two, after the wedding getting any additional shots I want. My mother in law is a professional photographer and my fiance is already planning it out. I don’t want to only wear my gown one day so it’s a great option for me. maybe a photography student or family friend could suit a post wedding budget.
downloadgirl: I have considered it but right now it’s simply not in the budget. Unfortunately (or fortunately?) my dress no longer fits as I have lost a bit of weight since the wedding. I’m pretty sure the alterations on the dress would cost more than the photography session haha! Maybe next year as an anniversary gift (to myself) I’ll book a session!
Here’s my veil!
Oh, sorry. I didnt see this until today.
This is the Karissa (213254) by David Tutera (David Tutera for Mon Cheri).
It is an older dress, 2013 (!) i believe. But I have had my eyes on this dress since I got engaged in july 2015. My dream dress!
This thread just reminds me how much in love with long veils I am! Future Mother-In-Law went with me to my first fitting and tried to convince me that I should get a short veil as to not hide the back of the dress. I agreed that day but the next day, when I found THE dress, and she wasn’t there, I ended up falling in love with a long veil. I hate though that I didn’t get any pics from the back of it that day.
