I bought my veil on Amazon for $19! It was multiple layers of tulle, but I didn’t wear any of it over my face. It was beautiful for pictures but to be honest, it was too heavy to wear all night long. It didn’t help that it was super windy. But for $19, I can’t complain hahaha plus, I got some beautiful photos!

We purchased my veil from a bridal shop so it was quite expensive, but I loved it! I wanted it to showcase the back of my dress and not cover up the line of buttons.

It definitely looked “fuller” in indirect sunlight and when there was a slight breeze!

@calireaming112:  got my veil from davids bridal. I was pretty dead set on a cathedral veil, but i loved the way the finger length hugged my shoulders and you could see the lace detailing so well!

I just had a long, plain veil and I loved it!

my skirt has a fairly big, quite round train, so I want a big, rounded veil that will be just a touch longer than the dress. I do want it to go over my face, but I’m going to take it off directly after the ceremony anyway – photo getting ready, walking down the aisle and maybe one or two after will be enough for me I think, simply because I want something so dramatic!

This is the type I’m thinking – I basically wanted people to be like, ‘oh, that’s a BRIDE!’ when they saw me, haha:

this is the veil I purchased from my bridal shop. Here’s my dress, unaltered, waiting in storage until next October 😭. My veil is fingertip length with beaded edging.

My veil was a match to my dress and had the same lace on it. honestly it was over priced and not noticeable, but I guess I still would have bought it regardless if I were to do it again because I like that went specifically with my dress. I loved the length.

I don’t have a picture of my dress + veil, but here is my veil. I intend to still add pearls around the edge similar to what I did around my hair.

It is an embroidered drop veil
