My SO and I have started discussing engagement rings. We’ve decided we’ll each pick/design our own, but both be involved in the process. I’m very drawn to the style lines of Art Deco, and am trying to decide if I want to search for a vintage Art Deco ring or have something designed that pulls from the style of the era.
Show me your art deco rings, please! I’m especially interested in what you’ve done for wedding rings, as many of the gorgeous rings I’ve seen are such statement pieces that I feel like a wedding band would have to be quite simple. I’m also esepcially interested in rings with an emerald or sapphire halo, bezel settings, and step-cut stones.

Here’s my custom made Art Deco inspired ring by Brilliant Earth. Took 6 CAD drawings and the halo is still a bit off to me but I was blown away compared to what we’ve seen in stores!

My art deco ring is definitely less wedding/engagement ring, more dinner/cocktail ring, so probably not what you are looking for. But I will post anyway for some of the style elements like the bezels, cuts, etc.
Stats: 0.52ct elongated marquise (G, VS1, 10.85×3.84), french cut halo, and OEC/transitional sidestones, 900 platinum.
It’s quite different and I expect over the top for some but I love it. I wear it primarily as a RHR though switch it to left sometimes. It is easy to see why I don’t wear it with a band…but I actually generally prefer to wear any ring alone anyway.
Lots of camera reflection in the first two photos but they show the detail:

Here’s my original from the 1920s. Old mine cut diamond with French cut emeralds (his birthstone and the month we started dating) in the halo. Two more diamonds hiding in the shoulders. Set in platinum. It took an age to find her but it was worth the wait. Love my ring!
For my wedding ring I’m probably going to get a simple platinum band with engraving designs (or angle blossoms or similar). I may get an antique but I may go custom as my SO wants a custom ring and we like the idea of little touches matching.
