@SupermarketGirl:  Here’s the one I wore. The model shows it in white but mine is ivory.

It’s actually for sale. I wore it with a very vintage looking ivory lace two piece dress and it was very 1920’s.

The veil is made of Russian netting and measures 9 inches from top to bottom and 13 inches wide. It is attached to a 3.5 inch clear hair comb for easy placement and wearing.  The veil can be positioned on top of the head, to one side, or over the face at your desire. Hair pins are used on the top and sides to position the veil into place.

I still need to work out how I am going to decorate the headband, but here is my barebones veil.  I think that I will probably be wearing it in a shorter bandeau style for the big day.

@cant.wait.to.be.mrs.d:  I think tiny silk flowers in soft pinks, ivory and white would look gorgeous along the headband. You can also get lace from a craft store and do a lace band over the headband and then put the flowers on top of that with hot glue.

Good luck!

@cant.wait.to.be.mrs.d:  Your veil reminds me of this one. It might be a good inspiration.

Sorry the pic is huuuuge.

Mine wasn’t so vintage persay, but I found some “vintagey” clip on earings and had loose pin curls. The veil was from etsy and was a 9inch blusher for only $20!

@AnnieAAA: I love yours! Do you know which etsy seller you bought it from? Did it come with the flower?
